Description
ASAM has become a necessity with CDAs following the Medicaid expansion in Idaho. This session was designed to give a brief overview for the working clinician on ASAM criteria. Objectives include effectively implementing ASAM dimensions into CDAs, using ASAM in the context of mental health and not just substance use, and translating ASAM into level of care recommendations.
