Kirsten earned her BA in Psychology at Mesa State College and Master of Social Work at Boise State University. She has over 20 years of experience working within the behavioral health field, including supervision and management of CBRS and Case Management programs and providing trauma focused psychotherapy. She also is certified in EMDR therapy. Kirsten recently joined the Optum Idaho Education and Training team in April 2022 and was recently certified to teach CPI Trauma, which provides insight on how to work with members who may experience a crisis based on trauma.
