FAQ

If joining us in-person at JUMP, the deadline for registration is Oct 11th

Everyone is welcome to join us virtually, and those who are fully vaccinated for Covid-19 may attend in person at JUMP in downtown Boise, if capacities allow. Conference room maximum capacities may change based on the health and safety guidelines in place at the time. Optum Idaho will notify any in-person attendees of any changes needing a switch to virtual attendance at least 30 days in advance of the event. You may also do a combination, e.g., one morning in person and that afternoon virtually. (Exception: The Crisis Prevention Institute class is in-person only.)

Optum Idaho is approved to offer CEU credit for the following licensure types: LSW, LMSW, LCSW, LMFT and LPC, but please check each session’s details before registering, as not all are CEU-eligible for masters level clinicians. Other provider types are welcome to submit the Certificate of Completion to their respective boards to see if credit may be granted. Whether you join us in person or virtually, you will receive an email for each session attended asking for your feedback. This email will also include the link to download your CEU certificate(s). Paraprofessionals may use these as their certificates of completion. Each person planning to attend virtually must register and log in themselves to receive credit, even if listening in the same room. If attending at JUMP, please ensure one of the volunteers scans your badge before entering each session to receive attendance credit. Please refer to each session’s description for CEU details. If you have any trouble downloading your certificate, please check your spam folder, and, if still missing, email us at optum.idaho.education@optum.com.

Optum Idaho will follow the Ada County health and safety guidelines in place at the time of the event. (Please also see Q&A above.) Those who plan to attend in person must be fully vaccinated, meaning they have received at least a full Covid-19 vaccination series defined as:

• Two doses of the Pfizer vaccine (administered three weeks apart); or

• Two doses of the Moderna vaccine (administered four weeks apart); or

• The single-dose Johnson & Johnson Janssen vaccine

Please be prepared to attest that you are fully vaccinated when registering to attend in person. Others may join the conference virtually.

Your conference registration includes access to most educational session recordings for one year after the event concludes.* You can view any of the sessions as many times as you would like, at no additional charge. Simply go to www.optumidahoconference.com > On Demand Sessions. Note that you will be prompted to enter the email and password you used to register to access this page.

However, if you did not attend the live event and want to receive CEU credit, sessions must be taken in Relias, which requires a corresponding exam afterwards for CEU credit. Relias is available to Optum Idaho network providers. Please allow several weeks after the event concludes for material to post to Relias. (*Sessions presented by Drs. Magni Hamso and Diana Clarke will not be available after the event, so, if interested, please attend the live sessions.)

A virtual event allows you to attend a conference from the comfort and convenience of your home or office through your personal computer or mobile device. Think of it as attending a standard conference but with the ability to engage with anyone else who is attending online.

If attending the event virtually, you will receive confirmation and reminder emails that will provide you with the information you need to log in for the day. Each person planning to attend virtually must register and log in themselves to receive credit.

Optum Idaho is working diligently to prepare for this unique experience and will send you the necessary instructions once your registration is completed, as well as reminders to make it easy for you to quickly log in to the event. You will begin receiving these instructions via email when we get a little closer to the event. Make sure that the email address associated with your registration is accurate and up-to-date so that there is no delay in receiving our communications. Additionally, put your password in a safe place for you to access on the day of the event.

Most computers and mobile devices such as laptops, desktops and handheld tablets are capable of running the virtual event. Once you register at www.optumidahoconference.com, you will be able to perform a System Checker that will analyze your internet browser, internet connection and network settings to be sure they are optimized for your viewing experience. If there is a warning issued by this System Checker, simply click on the Get Help button or call the support number provided via email so that we can help prepare you for the virtual event. Be sure to follow directions in emails sent after registration, such as how to download Zoom. Otherwise, you may have difficulties on the day of the conference.

Please ensure each person is logged in using their own unique email address and password created when registering for the conference to receive credit.

For every registration to attend virtually, only one device (computer, laptop, tablet or phone) will be allowed to enter the virtual conference. The credits earned, the questions asked and the polling conducted within that single log-in session are all tied to the account of the individual that enrolled for the virtual event. With that said, there is nothing stopping you from attending the virtual event and allowing your colleagues to enjoy the conference right next to you from wherever you are viewing the event, as long as each person is on their own device.

No, each person planning to attend in-person must register themselves with their own unique email to receive credit.

If attending in-person, you will receive confirmation and reminder emails, such as parking and conference room directions, when we get closer to the event.
