Marie Hattaway is the Community Partnership and Recreation Manager for Boise City Parks and Recreation. In this role she oversees the City’s recreational programming that serves, youth, teens, and seniors. Marie also represents the City in community partnerships that serve Idaho youth. Prior to the City, Marie worked for 14 years in the non-profit and political/public policy arena.
Marie is passionate about providing youth with out-of-school programming beyond traditional school time. Not only does she do this in her role at the City, but she also sits on the Idaho Governor’s Workforce Development Council, representing the Idaho Out-of-School Network, a non-profit program that advocates for access for all youth to high-quality out-of-school programs. Marie is a proud alum of Boise State University, graduated Cum Laude with a B.A. in Political Science.
