Idaho Out-of-School Network
Anna Almerico is the Director of the Idaho Out-of-School Network. With over 17 years of experience leading non-profits, she has developed a deep passion for working to address the issues facing families furthest from opportunity and under resourced through looking deeper into the policies, practices and mindsets requiring change. Anna holds a degree in Sociology: Criminal Justice and Peace and Justice Studies from St. Thomas University and in 2020 completed a Fellowship in Policy at Furman University. Invested in engaging community and building family supports, Anna believes that closing the opportunity gap for children and providing access to mentors and professionals with enhanced skills in social and emotional learning and mental health, will alleviate poverty and build a strong diverse workforce and ultimately -leaders of the future.
