Kevin Medina is the Experiential Learning Advisor at the UCLA School of Public Affairs. In this role, he has the privilege to partner with nonprofit organizations, governmental agencies, and elected officials’ offices throughout California to create and administer public service training opportunities for undergraduate students at UCLA. Beyond his full-time job at UCLA, Kevin consults on hate crime data analysis for Los Angeles County, is a volunteer advisor and application reader for the Point Foundation, and sings with the Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles. Prior to these roles, Kevin has worked and volunteered at multiple LGBTQ organizations including UCLA LGBTQ Campus Resource Center, UCLA LGBTQ Studies Department, One Archives, Los Angeles LGBT Center, and Orange County LGBT Center. A proud Bruin, Kevin holds Masters Degrees in Public Policy and Social Welfare from UCLA.
