This presentation outlines the need for mental health services for individuals with disabilities such as autism spectrum disorders and intellectual disabilities, who have higher rates of mental health diagnoses than the general population. The presenter will also review services available for individuals in the State of Idaho through mental health and disability services, outlining the differences between the purposes as well as implementation of service delivery. Finally, the presentation will review key ways to adapt mental health services to the neuro-diverse population.
