Alison Blodgett

Alison has over 30 years of experience working with children and families. She is the executive director for the Savannah Family Institute, home to the PLL Evidenced-Family Treatment Model. Alison started her career as a family preservation specialist and progressed into leadership positions advocating for community-based solutions for youth and families.

Previously, Alison was the director of proposal development at Specialized Alternatives for Families and Youth of America (SAFY), where she determined strategy and oversaw the implementation of RFP bids and grant proposals. She consulted with senior leadership on quality, fiscal and compliance requirements.

Alison received her MBA from Indiana University in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where she received the MBA+ Leadership Award. She was selected as a Journey Executive Fellow in 2015 for youth serving professionals in Indiana. After earning her Bachelor of Arts in English from Kalamazoo College, Alison completed a post-bachelor internship through the Department of Sociology at Wayne State University. She is a licensed Bachelor Social Worker (LBSW) in the State of Michigan, a Certified Grant Professional and earned her Child & Youth Professional Certification (CYC-P).
